Just a note... The soreness in my neck is almost gone and I seem to be back on my sleep cycle. The mortar and pestle I ordered arrived and if everything goes well my c60 should be here by this Wednesday. I spent the first half of my weekend preparing or thinking about how I will process the c60-oo.
Saturday I spent some time making a magnetic stirrer. I originally pulled some fans out of a couple of old computers I had laying around. Only one of them was suitable however it was not a variable speed fan. I settled instead on a small household fan in my garage that had a broken stand. I cleaned it up and added a dimmer switch to it. The fan is a 3 speed fan so it is already a variable speed fan and will not burn up from running at too low a wattage. I cut the caging off the front of the fan and made a surface that fit into the face of the fan from an old piece of sheet PVC. I am concerned that this setup is too far away from the magnets and I will likely have to adjust it with some other configuration. I made a video which I am providing below.

I'm considering using a 1ltr Nalgene filter setup to filter the c60 after it has been adequately mixed with the magnetic mixer. It looks like an adequate method yet will likely take some time for the c60-oo to pass through the filter as there is no vacuum or mechanical pressure being applied here.
